Chippewa River Forest Management has been asked by the U.S. Labor Department to participate in the monthly national jobs count report, released to the media on the first Friday of each month. This monthly report is used by the Federal Reserve, government agencies, banks and others to assess the nation's economy and react accordingly. So, once a month, for the next 36 months, we'll be providing the Labor Department with the employment data they're requesting, which will become pooled with other businesses' data in the survey, to arrive at the final monthly figures.
